Zumba is the perfect combo of fun and fitness created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto “Beto” Perez during the 1990s. It’s a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, and boosted energy. Zumba takes the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. The choreography incorporates the following dance styles: cumbia, salsa, merengue, mambo, flamenco, chachacha, reggaeton, soca, samba, hip hop music, and tango. Zumba is truly the class that started the dance-fitness revolution and changed the way we look at a “workout” forever. It’s fun, effective and for everyone!
I have loved dance my entire life. From memorizing the movements of dance videos to creating steps to songs, it has always been a passion of mine. When I was introduced to Zumba fitness, I knew immediately that this is where my passion lies. The ability to combine fitness with dance in an atmosphere that makes you feel like you are at a nonstop fun-loving party while burning calories, relieving stress, and feeling amazing is indescribable. I recognized that my gift was to share my love with others who have the aspiration to better themselves while having fun during the process, which is why I have recently became a licensed Zumba instructor. I invite everyone to join me on this exciting journey to be fit, let’s party!

Baylee combines creative sequencing, proper alignment, and breath/body awareness. With a focus on foundational poses and breathing techniques, she is able to create a class for both new students and long time practitioners. Her classes are a safe space, free from judgment and harsh self-criticism.
Baylee was first introduced to yoga when she was just 18 years old at a small studio in Tucson, AZ. After experiencing overwhelming peace of mind during her first class, she knew this practice was going to change her life in an incredibly positive way. After attending classes in Tucson for almost 3 years, she decided to deepen her practice in Denver, CO, where she worked as a karma yogi at The Yoga Pod. Dedicating her time to serving others gave her a sense of pride she had never experienced before. It was then that she decided to allow this practice to become an essential part of her life.
In 2014, she received her 200-hour certification with Kripalu School of Yoga. After moving back to Arizona, Baylee has been able to share the practice of yoga to her community. By embodying the role of both the teacher and the student, she strives to live this yogic lifestyle by which she’s been called to live. Baylee does her best every day to let this show, both in her classes and off the mat.
“My goal as a teacher is that you leave the room feeling refreshed, balanced, and nourished. I look forward to seeing you on your mat!”
